The ESSENTIAL online training modules are designed to equip vocational education and training (VET) learners with the soft skills that are essential for employability, career development, and long-term success in today’s labour market. The modules follow a practical, learner-centred approach and are delivered through an interactive online platform, allowing participants to learn at their own pace while engaging with real-life examples, case studies, and reflective activities. Each module focuses on a core transversal competence that employers increasingly value across all sectors.

Communication Skills
This module focuses on developing effective communication skills that are essential for professional and social interaction in the workplace. Participants explore verbal, non-verbal, and written communication, with particular emphasis on active listening, clarity of expression, and respectful dialogue.

Teamwork & Collaboration

The Leadership and Initiative module encourages learners to take responsibility, show initiative, and contribute proactively in the workplace. The module explores leadership styles, self-motivation, and decision-making, regardless of formal job position.
