ESSENTIAL – Employability and Soft Skills Empowerment Initiative for All Learners is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET Small-Scale Partnership project that aims to strengthen the employability of disadvantaged vocational education and training (VET) learners through structured soft skills development.
In today’s labour market, technical qualifications alone are no longer sufficient. Employers increasingly value transversal competences such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and initiative. However, these skills are often underrepresented in traditional VET programmes, particularly for learners facing social, economic, or educational disadvantages.
ESSENTIAL addresses this gap by delivering a blended learning model that combines local training workshops, an international training activity, mentorship programmes, and a multilingual online learning platform. The project targets disadvantaged youth, adults re-entering the workforce, long-term unemployed individuals, and VET learners who need flexible and accessible learning opportunities.
